Has it ever occurred to you that your mobile's 3.5mm phone jack is no longer fits or jumps back and because of this you are not able to listen uninterruptedly? Well, this happened to me few days back and here is what I did to get it working.
Problem: It's possible that your headphone is clogged with dirt, and it's time to clean.
1) First Things First: Check your headphones are working perfectly with other devices to make sure its your mobile jack's problem, not headphones.
2) Now get the cotton swabs/ear wax buds, remove the extra cotton from the both sides of the tip (for step 5 and 6 each).
3) Switch off the mobile and make sure it's at normal room temperature.
4) Get some mild alcohol/sanitizer, dip tip of the swab into it and keep aside for a minute.
5) Now brush the mobile headphone jack gently with the swab facing headphone jack towards ground, do not push swab entirely.
6) Remove excessive alcohol with the dry swab.
7) Check now it headphone fits properly with click sound? Yes there you go. No continue.
8) Get U-Pin or Paper clip straighten it up.
9) Clean gently by pushing Pin inside jack and try to remove any residue/debris inside. This must be your last resort to fix this.
